📅 Day 1: Welcome to Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India. Your journey begins in Delhi’s vibrant capital. Join your group for a welcome meeting at 6 PM; early arrivals may also explore with an optional Urban Adventure tour; later in the evening, head out with your group for a welcome dinner and discover its flavourful cuisine!
📅 Day 2: Explore Old Delhi
Today, discover Old Delhi by riding a cycle rickshaw through Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque). Also, stop at Sheeshganj Gurudwara to experience its spiritual side; here, learn about the community kitchen. After that, feel free to explore at your own pace – this day is entirely up to you!
📅 Day 3: Delhi to Agra – Taj Mahal & Red Fort
An air-conditioned express train will transport you directly to Agra, home of the Taj. Explore its romantic past while visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal – then discover Agra Fort, an impressive red sandstone fortress built during Mughal rule and discover Akbar’s Tomb or Sheroes Hangout (a cafe run by acid attack survivors) before dining at Akbar’s Tomb or Sheroes Hangout cafe run by acid attack survivors.
📅Day 4: Agra to Madhogarh
Today you will journey from Agra to Madhogarh, a picturesque village in Rajasthan. Explore the village on foot, visiting artisans from Lakhera community who craft resin bangles by hand and relax at Fort Madhogarh – once home of royal families!
📅Day 5: Madhogarh to Jaipur
Head to Jaipur, known as the Pink City. Once there, explore vibrant bazaars filled with textiles, handicrafts and gemstones. Stop at Amber Fort on its hill overlooking Maota Lake before visiting Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Spend your free evening discovering Jaipur’s charm!
📅Day 6: Free Day in Jaipur
Today is your free day to engage in optional activities in the Jaipur city area, such as taking a hot air balloon ride (seasonal), visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace or Jantar Mantar (18th Century Astronomical Observatory). After dinner, watch an Indian film at Raj Mandir Cinema before heading home.
📅Day 7: Jaipur to Ranthambhore National Park
Travel to Ranthambhore, once used by Jaipur’s maharajas for hunting. Later that evening, embark on a 4WD safari searching for tigers, deer, wild boars, crocodiles and more!
Note: From July 1 to Sept 30, the park will be closed; during this period, Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary provides an alternative site with sightings of Bengal tigers possible.
📅Day 8: Ranthambhore to Bundi
Drive to Bundi, which is famous for its intricate stepwells (baoris) and traditional atmosphere. Explore its bustling markets on foot with street dentists, chai vendors, and bangle makers before visiting Bundi Palace and its colourful murals, and resting during your heritage stay.
📅Day 9: Bundi to Paangarh Lake via Bassi
Join a local train from Bassi to Paangarh Lake and experience its peaceful waters, complete with views of an 18th-century fort. Relax into your night at an idyllic lakeside campsite complete with comfortable tented beds for the best outdoor relaxation experience possible.
📅Day 10: Paangarh to Bijaipur Village Safari
Explore rural villages on an open-top jeep safari. Look out for wildlife like foxes, langurs, and jackals while meeting local villagers – you might even get lucky enough to get a henna tattoo! After your safari concludes in Bijaipur, you will enjoy a royal heritage stay where a farm-fresh traditional dinner awaits.
📅Day 11: Bijaipur to Udaipur
Travel by private vehicle to Udaipur, the romantic City of Lakes. Enjoy an organised guided walk through its alleys and bazaars filled with miniature paintings, leather goods, and cultural charm. You can relax at the lakeside before dinner at one of its fine restaurants in the evening.
📅Day 12: Exploring Udaipur
When visiting Udaipur, first visit its magnificent City Palace–one of India’s grandest royal palaces–then take an optional boat ride on Lake Pichola or attend an evening dance performance featuring Rajasthani folk dances. Lastly, relax during free time: take an optional boat ride around Lake Pichola or attend one of many traditional Rajasthani dance performances featuring folk dances of Rajasthani origin.
📅Day 13: From Udaipur to Pushkar (via Ajmer).
Take an express train from Delhi to Ajmer and travel by private vehicle to Pushkar, visiting its famed Brahma Temple and sacred Pushkar Lake and witnessing rituals on its ghats. Enjoy dinner with a local family in the evening to learn more about life in this spiritual desert town.
📅Day 14: Pushkar to Delhi
Early risers may wish to climb up the Savitri Temple for sunrise views before taking the Shatabdi Express back to Delhi in the afternoon and transferring directly to their hotel for one final night’s stay.
📅Day 15: Departure from Delhi.
